Description
Accelerate the curing of cyanoacrylate adhesives with the Bob Smith Industries BSI-155 Insta-Set™ CA Accelerator. Supplied in a convenient aerosol can, Insta-Set helps CA glue cure in approximately 6 to 8 seconds, making it ideal for model building, repairs, assembly work, and projects where fast adhesive curing is required.
Insta-Set acts as a catalyst that enhances the alkaline conditions required during CA polymerization. It is especially useful when curing thicker layers of CA, reinforcing seams, or bonding materials that are difficult to join using cyanoacrylate adhesive alone.
For difficult-to-bond materials, Insta-Set can be applied to one surface while CA adhesive is applied to the opposite surface. When the two parts are brought together, the adhesive bonds quickly. The formula has a strawberry scent and is compatible with all surfaces, including clear plastic and foam.

How to Use
- Join the parts using the appropriate cyanoacrylate adhesive.
- Apply Insta-Set™ to the seam to accelerate curing.
- For additional reinforcement, apply a bead of thick CA along the outside or corners of the joint and apply Insta-Set™ again.
- For difficult-to-bond materials, apply Insta-Set™ to one surface and CA adhesive to the opposite surface before bringing the parts together.
