The 2-Channel Tilt Sensor Module is a ready-to-use tilt detection solution that requires only a power supply to operate. Once powered, it can be easily attached to any object to detect changes in tilt angle. The module provides a digital output signal, allowing a microcontroller to determine whether the object is tilted or not.
It uses an SW-460D or SW-520D ball-type rolling tilt sensor. When the tilt angle exceeds a certain threshold, the internal ball moves, triggering the output signal. The module can also function as a basic vibration sensor.
Working Principle
-
Outputs LOW (0) when the tilt angle is below the threshold.
-
Outputs HIGH (1) when the tilt angle exceeds the threshold.
-
Typical tilt detection range: 45° to 130° (varies depending on angular velocity).
