PLA PolyTerra

PolyTerra PLA es un filamento de impresión 3D ecológico desarrollado por el reconocido fabricante Polymaker. Polymaker dispone de una amplia gama de filamentos, tanto de materiales convencionales como de materiales técnicos para usuarios profesionales.

PolyTerra PLA es un bioplástico desarrollado desde cero mediante la combinación de PLA con minerales orgánicos, lo que reduce significativamente el contenido de plástico del filamento y produce un filamento de impresión 3D más respetuoso del medio ambiente.

Además, para compensar las emisiones de carbono generadas en la fabricación y transporte de cada carrete, Polymaker, en colaboración con OneTreePlanted.org, planta un árbol por cada carrete vendido.

De esta forma, cuando el árbol alcance la madurez, podrá absorber 22 Kg de dióxido de carbono al año, compensando los 4 Kg necesarios para fabricar un carrete de PolyTerra PLA.

El PLA es un polímero biodegradable obtenido a partir de recursos naturales como el almidón extraído del maíz, la remolacha azucarera o el trigo. Este material es uno de los más utilizados en la impresión 3D porque no desprende gases nocivos y es fácil de imprimir. Gracias a su contenido de PLA, el filamento PolyTerra PLA se puede imprimir en la misma configuración que el PLA, no requiere una cama caliente y la deformación es casi inexistente.

Los bajos requisitos técnicos de este material hacen posible su uso en casi cualquier impresora 3D FDM del mercado.

Además de las cualidades que comparte con los PLA estándar, PolyTerra PLA permite la impresión 3D de piezas con salientes y puentes con una calidad muy superior a otros PLA. Además, el acabado superficial de las piezas impresas en 3D es excelente y completamente mate. Este acabado permite ocultar las líneas de capa, incluso cuando se imprime con grandes alturas de capa.

Las propiedades mecánicas de PolyTerra son superiores a las del PLA estándar, lo que permite una amplia gama de posibles aplicaciones en diferentes sectores. PolyTerra PLA es más resistente que el PLA estándar y tiene una rigidez similar a PolyMax PLA.

Las cualidades de este material no terminan ahí, ya que PolyTerra PLA permite un fácil procesamiento posterior. Los soportes impresos con PolyTerra PLA se pueden quitar fácilmente sin el uso de herramientas. Esto permite al usuario fabricar piezas complejas, logrando excelentes acabados.

Además, la superficie de las piezas impresas se puede lijar sin ningún problema, sin miedo a crear residuos no deseados en la superficie. Gracias a su superficie porosa, se pueden pintar piezas impresas en 3D hechas de este material, y se puede utilizar una amplia gama de pinturas. Todas estas propiedades hacen de PolyTerra PLA un material ideal para la fabricación de figuras o complementos.

PolyTerra PLA está disponible en una amplia gama de colores, entre los que se han introducido varios colores pastel, todos ellos con un excelente acabado superficial.

Polymaker también ha tenido en cuenta el carrete de los filamentos para reducir el impacto medioambiental del producto. El filamento PolyTerra PLA está enrollado en un carrete de cartón reciclado, con etiquetas y empaque exterior también hechos de material reciclado. Además, se ha eliminado todo el papel innecesario para reducir los residuos producidos en la fabricación del material.

Adaptador de carrete Polymaker

El adaptador de carrete se creó teniendo en cuenta los carretes de cartón Polymaker para compensar cualquier deformación del carrete que pudiera influir en la estabilidad del carrete. Este duradero adaptador de carrete ayuda a reducir la fricción al crear una superficie de rodadura estructurada y también evita la acumulación de polvo asociada con soluciones de adaptadores similares.

Este adaptador de carrete Polymaker es compatible con todas las estaciones de materiales múltiples, como AMS de Bambu Lab o Material Station de Ultimaker. La impresión del adaptador requiere unos 40 minutos y 30 g de filamento. Los materiales recomendados son PLA, PolyLite PETG, PolyLite ASA o PolyMax PLA para mayor durabilidad y longevidad. Para prolongar la vida útil del adaptador de carrete, Polymaker sugiere quitar primero el pasador de ubicación antes de quitar los clips de borde para reducir la tensión en el adaptador al cambiar los carretes.
